Recipes for Revising Half-Baked Poems
About the event
Revising a poem can be as engaging as writing one. We all have some stubborn poems that haven’t jelled or that seem close but for some reason just don’t hit the mark. Together we’ll try out ideas to see our poems with fresh eyes and have fun in the process.
To get the most out of the class, have on hand:
- three separate copies of two of your own poems you wish to revise
- scissors
- thesaurus (print, online thesaurus, or access to Google)
- access to online site, Rhymezone
A meeting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hour prior to the start of the program. Staff will be available for help with connecting to Zoom and technical issues beginning 15 minutes prior to the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join. If you have questions about this program, please contact Laurie Kincer at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch at 216-382-4880.
